I'm still extending my practice of letting you know where I'm off to - as far ahead as I can!! Feedback from
readers proves useful - and I get recommendations on what to look out for. I even get invitations to
visit places and/or individuals. Thanks folks!!!
First, a review of 2003-2004?
I had been cutting down on OVERSEAS travel during 2003 & 2004 - for the MAIN reason that my writings need
a good "CATCH-UP" phase.
Thoughts for 2002, as well as 2003, were started for several explorations and different ways of making them!!
The "different ways" were:-
A. Modified package-tours
B. Local coach facilities
C. National EXPRESS facilities

The LOCAL COACH FACILITIES were by
a series of National Day-Tours and Week-tours. See my index of the programme of

The NATIONAL EXPRESS COACH FACILITIES are by
The UK's "NATIONAL EXPRESS COACHES" !!!
Again, to add a personal challenge to merely modifying commercial packages and 'doing-my- own-thing'
at the end of their trip, I have been busy researching many destinations within the large orbits of
NATIONAL EXPRESS and STAGECOACH
to revisit places. Much USE has been made of E-Commerce and E-Mail arrangements.
In fact I renewed my electronic MEMBERSHIP (on 4 June 2002) of "Go By Coach" for THREE Years
this time!!
ONLY ONE biggy was planned and made in 2003!!
- and that WAS to the Scarborough area of North Yorkshire UK in May 2003.
(Unfortunately, just after I purchased this longer duration ticket, it became redundant - and they replaced
the 33% discount for the "over 50's" by a 50% reduction for the "over 60's"! No fee required!!)
I haven't use it in its
remaining role as an out-of-season very cheap return entitlement to anywhere in the UK!!! -Never mind, there's always
Jan- March 05, but NO PLANS have been made yet!
I also combined Nat Express & Stagecoach in July (2002 & 2003) to friends in WILTSHIRE!
In 2004, I visited them, again in JULY, with NAT EXPRESS all the way (No Stagecoach!) via BIRMINGHAM
(doubling the distance but increasing the COMFORT!!) Rather than just an E-Commerce transaction,
this was done by selecting an E-Ticket option - where I printed my own ticket via their computer at my
own home!! The delay was EVEN LESS that way!!!

How's about 2005?
There will probably be LESS of National Express - and MORE with The
MALVERNIAN company, JBC. A bit more , too, with STAGECOACH!
I look forward to their brochures and my 'bookings' with JBC. It can't be long now!!

I'm still trying to complete my 'writings-transfers' to the website. That will take more and more time.
'Modified Package Tours' have ceased for me! Antarctica was the last!!
