The last  Country Music Festival that I  attended  at 
the PRESTATYN was at the 'Prestatyn Sands' site was back in 1989. As the 
Festival Index shows, however, it was NOT my final festival!!

	It ran for a week, their normal way of doing things, and this was from 
29th April-6th May '89 .

  There were many performers, at a phenomenally economic 
entrance fee (thanks to the 'vision' of the late Bob Chappell).



 A whole week here costs less than a day at Wembley!!

	Apart from the musical attractions (my main reason for going) there were
 many other attractions like:-

	Country Music quizzes 
	Talent competitions 
	Country Dancing 
	Fast-draw competitions
	Square Dancing 
	Country Music Films

	I also got a 'Video of the week'!!

     and much more!!!
