The ONLY BCMA 'Awards Weekend'  that I  attended was at  SAND BAY  in 1986.

  It ran from 7  Nov '86 until 9 Nov '86.

  There were several performers, at a phenomenally economic entrance fee. 
                    (thanks to the work of TONY BEST).


	Apart from the musical attractions (my main reason for going) there were
other attractions like:-
 
	Western Dancing 
	Square Dancing (with Tone Howard - our 'caller')
	Charades (with Country Music titles)

  I attended with my 'lady friend' from Bath - together with another of her friends
(a mad-cap woman from Worcester) - who I transported by my car to Bath, first.
We motored from Bath to Sand Bay in the early evening of the first day.

		Steve Night Country Band (and as a Duo)
		The Great PHILOMENA BEGLEY
	(apart from her singing, she also graced us with her dancing!)

		Les Bennett Disco (not so good!)
