** WALKING **

This is the 6 Dec 2004 edition of this page and gives some of my destinations in WALKING!

This page will develop as I scour all my past notes on walking and climbing areas that I've covered. This is just to make a start on this vast subject.

It will be subdivided into its several 'aspects'.

PHILOSOPHY OF WALKING

Originally, I enjoyed the pleasure of others on walking tours (e.g family, partners, walking clubs etc) - but more recently over the decades I've far more preferred the 'soloism' aspects of my life and now PREFER to walk and travel ALONE.

I now subdivide into sections regarding the variety of terrains covered during my life. At this stage it will be a pure sample-listing, with some 'links' to some countries- but the selected 'links' are not necessarily the biggest walks there!!.
