** AD1990 Summary **
This is the 13 Dec 2003 Edition of this page.
Here is the list of the travels with the introductions
to each.
Mid-Wales (March)
[This was a return with my ladyfriend to the beautiful ELAN VALLEY

- and we also included the romantic
SYMOND'S YAT although NOT in Wales.]
Forest of Dean (March & April)
SYMOND'S YAT was covered, as were CLEARWELL CAVES (again), SPEECH HOUSE, the
Wye Suspension Bridge (near the YAT)
Ludlow (Apr)

North Wales (inc Llwyngwril and Snowdon)(June)

Blackpool & Liverpool ( Jul, Aug, Sep)
Outside Blackpool, at GREAT ECCLESTONE, I and my lady-friend were both VERY
IMPRESSED with the 'machinery' at the EUROPEAN TRACTOR PULLING CHAMPIONSHIPS
where the engines were FAR more POWERFUL than Top-Fuel-Dragsters!! (For example, one would
have FOUR 2000Hp engines and another FIVE 3000HP beasties)

Bourton on the Water (Jul & Aug)
During the August visit to this enchanting Cotswold village, I was accompanied by my father
and my current lady-friend. Visiting all the usual sights, we also included the Motor Museum,
which is more a random collection of 'motoring memorabilia'. Dad and I lapped-up this historical
memory-reminder, and I got a fine photo of my lady-friend who pictured herself as a "gangster's
mol" at the 'running-board' of one of their exhibits!!
Hopton on Sea (Oct)
Here, I was taking part in another Country MUSIC Festival! More info in the link!!
